Grease Trap Cleaning
Restaurant grease traps should be regularly pumped and cleaned to avoid costly repairs, backflows, and fines.
Don’t Risk Back Flows and Fines, Get Your Grease Traps Cleaned Regularly.
Grease Trap Cleaning is a very important service for any food service establishment. The grease trap controls the grease and FOG (food, oil, and grease) that would otherwise be disposed of down the drain.
They need to be cleaned regularly in order to keep them working properly.
How often do I need grease trap cleaning?
Depending on the size of your grease trap you should expect to need cleaning at least once per quarter, although most Durango restaurants have us come by for monthly service.
If the grease trap is too clogged, it will overflow and release FOG into drains. This can create an unpleasant odor in your establishment or even shut down your resturant.
How do I know if my grease trap needs cleaning?
Your grease trap needs to be cleaned frequently enough to maintain less than 25% FOG (food, oil, and grease) accumulation.
For most Durango restaurants, once per month is sufficient.
